Cost
The BC Summer Games fee is a $235, which includes the general games fee and singlet/opening ceremonies attire. Athletes who are not members of BC Athletics must take out a Summer Games membership ($20.00 for 14-year-olds and $21.00 for 15-year-olds). This covers competing at and training for the BC Summer Games. The above fees cover accommodation, meals, singlet and bus for those who opt to take a bus to the Games. Snack money etc. is the responsibility of the athlete. Some clubs pay for their athletes. In all other cases, it is the responsibility of the athlete.

Travel
Chartered bus will be arranged for Games participants who have chosen BC Games transportation, from predetermined zone pick-up points for arrival in Maple Ridge on Thursday, July 18. Charter bus in the afternoon and evening of Sunday, July 21. The time and location of departures will be sent to all participants within 10 days of the registration deadline. No cash equivalents will be issued for those who choose to make their own way to/from the Games.
To ensure the safety and supervision of BC Games athletes during travel to and from the BC Games, zone teams must travel together on Games transportation (buses/flights) departing from, and returning to, central pick-up locations. This ensures that every athlete is supervised by an accredited adult (head coach, assistant coach, or adult supervisor) from the time they board a bus/flight until the time they arrive at the destination (the Games or the drop-off location after the Games).

Accommodations
All participants are required to stay in BC Games accommodation. All athletes under 19 years will be properly supervised in accommodation by one or more of the adults associated with the zone team. Accommodations are usually local schools. Additionally, breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
